Hello Kimberly,
I’m glad you enjoyed the info, it is pretty scary what these companies get away with and how it is affecting our pets.

Where did the article go? It must have been here hence the comments…
It should be back up now.
I did get the package but do not think much of the suggested recipes (e.g., I don’t like grains and heat-treatment of foods). (I didn’t return the package yet, so maybe I should).
I like, however, the other points the author makes and so eloquently talks about in this short video clip. The current situation is horrifying. I would like to add that the only kind of pet food products that are regulated and enforced are certified organic ones. And the oversight over these cert. organic pet foods is stringent, as I can say from my own experience, and better than non-certified organic foods for humans!) All other (non certified organic) pet food claims aren’t verified by anybody but the manufacturer and eager retailers who are committed to sell what they bought (they also often get ‘special deals’ from manufacturers who can afford it to push their products more.
Furthermore, Andrew Lewis points out correctly that much of the profits which aren’t cashed in by the owner are recycled not into better ingredients but more marketing of mediocre products.
P.S.: And now, why am I an I a pet food manufacturer? Because I want to provide convenient choices that simplify preparing healthy foods for pets at the homes of pet guardians.
